Dr. Rusher is a native of Northwest Ohio. He attended The Ohio State University where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry. He completed his podiatric degree at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, graduating at the top of his class as President of the Pi Delta National Podiatry Honor Society. Dr. Rusher went on to complete his surgical residency at Community Health Network in Indianapolis, Indiana where he performed thousands of foot & ankle procedures under the guidance of some of the region’s most talented surgeons.
Looking to perfect his craft, he pursued advanced surgical training at the Innovative Foot & Ankle Surgical Fellowship at Alexander Orthopaedic Associates in St. Petersburg, Florida. During his fellowship, Dr. Rusher trained in cutting-edge modalities including custom 3D printed options for foot and ankle reconstruction as well as total ankle replacements.
Dr. Rusher is a husband and the proud father of four children. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys calisthenic training in his free time. Dr. Rusher is an advocate of a whole-food-plant-centered diet and also has a special interest in men’s fashion.
